Required Uniform

• Complete Class A Uniform: For travel to and from the destination. Includes uniform shirt, olive pants, and red 73 neckerchief.

• Scout Handbook

Gear & Clothing

• Tent (The troop has spares if you do not own one)

• Sleeping bag & sleeping mat/pad

• Water bottle (pre-filled)

• Boots

• Wicking/Sports shirt (for warm weather/hiking)

• Change of clothes (socks, liner socks, underwear, shirts)

• Jacket (for cooler evening temperatures)

• Rain gear (jacket and pants)

• Flashlight or headlamp (with extra batteries)

• Day pack

Personal Items

• Mess Kit (plate, cup, spoon, fork)

• Hygiene Kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, hand sanitizer)

• Toilet paper in a Ziplock bag

• Matches

• Personal First Aid Kit

• Snacks

Important Safety Policies

• Knives: Sheath, butterfly, and survival-type knives are strictly prohibited.

• Fuel Safety: All fuel (propane, white gas) must be checked in with an adult leader upon arrival. Only adult leaders are permitted to handle fuel.
