9:30 AM: Arrive at Church (Pack gear & check-in medications)
10:30 AM: Church Service
12:00 PM: Lunch in Fellowship Hall
1:00 PM: Depart for Camp
Note: Scouts must arrive in Full Class A Uniform (Shirt, olive pants, red 73 neckerchief). Bring a full water bottle for the ride!

Swim Test: Required annually for water sports. (Troop test dates TBA; otherwise must test at camp).
🎒 Packing Essentials
The Footlocker Rule
Scouts need a footlocker for gear. Do not get the 50-gallon (31.5") size; it will not fit under the cot.
Recommended: Walmart Sterilite Footlocker
Checklist Highlights:
Uniforms: 1 Complete Class A, plus T-shirts/socks for every day.
Gear: Sleeping bag, pillow, flashlight, 10x10' tarp (for tent cover), and a mess kit.
Items for Merit Badges: Scout Handbook, merit badge pamphlets, and specific gear (compass, backpack).
Prohibited Items: NO Cell Phones or electronic games. No sheath, butterfly, or survival knives.
💊 Medications
All prescriptions must be in original containers, placed in a clear Ziploc bag labeled with the Scout’s name and "Troop 73." These will be collected by adult leaders on Sunday morning.
🏹 Activities & Extra Costs
Beyond merit badges, Scouts can enjoy frisbee golf, fishing, basketball, and more. Some activities require extra funds at the Trading Post:
Ammunition: Rifle/Shotgun range (pay per round).
Craft Materials: Leatherwork (~$10), Basketry (~$10), Space Exploration (~$10).
Snacks: Money for the Trading Post.
